Discovered in Washington State, the Olympian Fig is a cold-hardy variety that produces very large fruit with purple and green striped skin and red to purple flesh. The flavor is fruity and very sweet, making it excellent for fresh eating, canning, or drying.
Hardy to 5°F, it thrives in USDA zones 7–10 and ripens mid-season, usually around July. A self-pollinating fig that’s both productive and ornamental, Olympian is perfect for gardeners in cooler climates.
