Also known as Brunswick or Dalmatian, the Magnolia Fig is prized for its very large fruit, often up to 180 grams, and its simple honey flavor. This cold-hardy variety performs well in cooler climates, even hardier than Hardy Chicago.
It is highly productive and sweet, but its poor rain resistance and tendency to split in humid conditions make it best suited to dry climates. Ideal for fresh eating and preserves.
